Mission:
Proactive identification, evaluation, analysis and recommendation of exploration opportunities to contribute to the company's growth objectives.
Functions:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-oriented person that has at least 10years of international experience in the oil industry with a strong knowledge in Geosciences with International Oil Companies
She or he will be conversant with full cycle prospect evaluation including strong background in G&G and risk and volumetric assessment
Candidate must have proven experience in farm out, round evaluations and comply short deadlines.
The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, while being an excellent team player
The position is based in Madrid, but frequent travelling is to be expected
Essential Functions:
· Monitor industry activity, identify and bring opportunities to attention of Management.
· Coordinate and work within a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate opportunities. Coordinate / lead opportunity evaluation, including full project evaluation expertise integrating subsurface and economic data to provide sound recommendations to management.
· Present to management, partners, and host government officials opportunities / company credentials
Qualifications / Experience
· Geosciences degree
· A technical background with over 10 years experience in the upstream industry
· Monitor industry activity, identify and bring opportunities to attention of Management
· Coordinate and work within a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate opportunities. Coordinate / lead opportunity evaluation, including full project evaluation expertise integrating subsurface and economic data to provide sound recommendations to management

2. Facilities Engineers
Your main Job function and Key responsibility areas are:
Provide insight to the Business Units in surface facilities: wellhead fluid gathering, crude oil treatment, gas conditioning and processing, and product transportation, in an onshore/offshore environment, including evaluation of new ventures and projects
Review and approve the specification, design, and supply (by contractors) of process (static, dynamics) equipment and piping in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost
Prepare process concept definition, being involved in preliminary studies, conceptual and basic design, FEED, construction, installation, hook up, commissioning and start up of surface facilities from the project planning through execution, in close liaison with the project manager
Evaluating contractor proposals for Technical Studies, FEED and EPC. Execute the project monitoring
Handle internal interfaces with HSE, Planning, QA/QC Organizations and Business Units, as well as the external interfaces with engineering companies, services specialists, partners and others
Required Specific Knowledge and Technical Skills are:
Production System Design, Oil & Gas Processes & Facilities, Life cycle design, Production system engineering
Utilities Design, Mechanical Design, Piping Design, Cryogenic Plants Design, Water Injection Plants, Revamping and Upgrading Plants, Contractor's Documentation
Project management process, cost estimation, economics, contracting, technical specifications and bidding, technical audits and design reviews.
Construction & Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Inspection, control and testing techniques
Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Tender procedure, Health of Site Management, Agreement
Education and qualifications:
Engineering Degree/Diploma in Process, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
Fluent knowledge of English
Fluent in Spanish will be an asset
Minimum 10 years of Oil and Gas experience

POWER OPERATORS/SENIOR POWER OPERATORS
Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in operating and monitoring Gas turbines with DLN Technology, Frame V/VI GE turbines and generators, Fuel gas/sour fuel gas system, Boilers and heat recovery steam generators. PERMIT TO WORK CONTROLLERS
Applicants must have at least 7 years experience in a similar role of which at least will be in a process environment and should be able to demonstrate previous experience of Permit to Work system and procedures, Gas testing and monitoring, Permit auditing, Emergency response procedure.
LABORATORY TECHNICIANS
Carries out routine laboratory tests including obtaining gas, water, waste water and chemicals samples and runs several lab tests and analysis of all products and bi-products resulting from the offshore Production and onshore Process activities, in accordance with established laboratory testing methods and instructions.
UTILITY OPERATORS
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in operating and monitoring the following plants and equipments: Boilers, steam generator, cooling water pumps and exchangers, desalination plant, potable water units, de-mineralizing units and softeners, nitrogen operators and cryogenic equipments. Air compressors and dryers, Flare system and sour/wet dry flare knock out drums, DCS, PLC, Foxboro, Etalba and Fire gas system, Permit to work system, Emergency response.
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with good analytical background and knowledge of gas chromatography, spectrophotometry, x-ray diffraction, FTIR & wet chemistry methodologies, together with a minimum 5 years laboratory experience in the oil and gas sector. Must be Computer literate with knowledge of LIMS systems, with good written and oral English skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
