PIT GEOLOGIST (Vietnam)

Job Requirement:
Graduated from recognized University.
At least 2 years experience.
Coal Experienced preferred.
Strata graphic mapping experience necessary.
Able to move and work in rough terrain.
Computer skill on geologic modeling needed.
Able to speak English, able to speak Vietnamese is a plus

Job Description:
Mapping of geological structural features in area surrounding the excavation.
Mapping of faces exposed by excavation to identify the direction and pith of jointing and map structural features.
Map coal exposed to identify roof, floor and parting s of seams of coal, identifying plies of similar properties.
Sample plies within each coal seam by channel sampling techniques and submit to the laboratory for physical analysis.
Recommend procedures, monitor and assist Coal Production Supervisors to mine the coal plies cleanly.
Supervise the coal loading operation to minimize coal losses, maximize coal recovery.
Update computer model with results of channel mapping.
Update computer models with structural information.
Advise Mine Planning and Quality Control Personnel on latest geological structure and quality information.
Liase with Quality Control and Wash plant supervisors to ensure the sequence of qualities an quantities of ROM Coal scheduled from the mine.
Participate in investigation of usual metallurgical performance in processing to assist with understanding why different plies behave differently.
Assist mine planning and quality control personnel to understand and participate variations in coal quality of ROM coal.
Prepare budgets and monitor costs of above activities.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on activities.

► PIPELINE

Job Title : PIPELINE ENGINEER
Nationality : Indonesian

Requirements :

1. Shall have a minimum of 5 years working experience in Oil and gas Industry for Offshore and Onshore projects.
2. Shall have a n Engineering Degree (or recognized equivalent).
3. Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards and common industry practices for design of subsea pipelines, risers and associated facilities.
4. Should have working experience in various pipeline engineering design activities, including :
- Pipeline and riser mechanical design such as thickness, stability, expansion, spanning, collapse, etc.
- Pipeline, riser and spool stress analysis.
- Have a working knowledge of offshore construction and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Should possess a degree in preferably, Mechanical engineering.
• Should have minimum 5 years of working experience in stress analysis of piping for offshore wellhead and compression platform or onshore oil/gas processing platform in an engineering organization using Caesar II software.
• Must have experience in analyzing piping connected to static vessels, exchangers, pumps, compressors, Fin fan coolers etc., and preparation of datasheets for spring supports.
• Experience in preparation of piping and valve material specification, piping specialty items datasheets would be an added advantage.
• Should be computer literate, i.e. familiar with MS Office or equivalent. Experiences in 3D software (PDS or PDMS) would be an added advantage.
• Should possess good communication skills in English language.
• Should be willing to be based in Jakarta or Balikpapan.
• Should be able to work effectively in a team and maintain good quality of work.

- Electrical Bulk Material Take Off (MTOs) and familiar with electrical equipment selection for hazardous area environments (both NEC and IEC).

• Should have knowledge in computer literate, i.e. MS Office or equivalent. Having experiences on 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or Microstation, 3D modeling tools (PDS or PDMS) exposure would be preferable and an added advantage.
• Should possess good communication skills in English language.
• Should hold Indonesia citizenships and ready to be placed in Jakarta or Balikpapan.

Having exposure to working in 3D projects utilizing PDS / PDMS would be an added advantage.
• Should be familiar with International Codes and Standards (NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, etc.).
• Should have working experiences in various electrical design activities, including but not limited to:

Requirements :
1. 10 years working experiences with at least 5 years at the same industry or relevant experiences in heavy industrial projects, preferably with minerals & mining infrastructure.
2. Excellent English skills - spoken, written and presentation.
3. Preferable to have worked with a world class International Corporation.
4. Posses Master of Business Administration degree, undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred (but not essential).
