Job Description :
Work with Hess and EPC Contractor’s engineering teams on the Ujung Pangkah LPG and Oil Treating Facility Project overseeing and reviewing all aspects of the mechanical rotating equipment design. The emphasis will be on vendor document review, fabrication, inspections, and site installation.
Assist and guide the Contractor in the development of overall detailed engineering, fabrication and site installation for the mechanical rotating equipment such as gas turbine, turbo expander, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and pumps.
Review and approve the contractor’s designs and calculations to ensure that the proposed design complies with the project specifications and requirements.
Inspect equipment as necessary during fabrication phase.
During equipment installation phase of the project, the successful candidate will be assigned to the construction site near Surabaya to provide Company with assurance that construction and installation of mechanical equipment is being done in accordance with specifications, codes and accepted industry standards.

In material movement terms, KPC is also one of the largest open pit mines in the world with a fleet of over 200 haul trucks and 30 shovels moving over 2 millions tones of material per day
Opportunities exist for a capable and highly motivated professionals to join the Company with job assignment in Sangatta - East Kalimantan for the position of :
1. Mining Engineer (code: ME)
Main elements of the position description include :
- Check dump balances against pit schedules to determine the average overburden truck haul route in each scheduling period for pit & dump combinations in the short term plan.
- Check pit designs for conformance to geotechnical standards, and to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Check dump designs for conformance with KPC Rehabilitation Specifications.
- Account for the scheduling and correct burial of PAF material in the OB dumps;
- Determine coal haulage routes for pits assigned to the ROM hopper in each scheduling period in the short term plan.
- Calculate truck haulage cycle times for the overburden and coal routes identified in each scheduling period.
- Present the agreed designs and schedules to pit operations and technical staff, so that they can be implemented with minor additional work required by the pit engineers.
- Perform a range of activities as projects in the field of mine planning and scheduling.
- Reconcile actual mining operations against plan each month and at the end of each quarter; and
- Manage the use and housekeeping of all relevant files on the Mine Planning Computer System
Qualifications & Experience :
- S1 degree in Mining Engineering with 3 years experience in Open Pit Mining Environment.
- Excellent planning, analytical and organization skills.
- Excellent numerical analysis and spreadsheet modeling skills.
- Good technical and operational knowledge of the ECS Mine Planning Systems.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (oral & Written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
2. Senior Mining Engineer (Code: SMNE)
Main elements of the position description include :
- Manage the Minex network and Minex software (Sysems administrator).
- Train Mining Engineers in the use of the Minex software.
- Create conceptual and detailed pit designs using pre-defined criteria and practical judgment.
- Generate the Year End Reserve statement including cross-checked reserve volumes and qualities for each status (Mineable In-situ, Run of mine and Marketable).
- Create production schedules for KPC either directly from the reserves or using information provided by the pits for short, medium and long term planning.
- Evaluate alternative planning tools and software to improve the effectiveness of the planning process.
- Conduct investigations into ways to improve planning accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Tertiary qualification (S1 degree) in Mine Engineering with a minimum 5 years experience in open pit planning which at least 2 years experience of creating coal reserves.
- Some operational experience in an Open Pit using truck and shovel.
- Having 2 years experience in systems administration of complex planning software.
- Must be able to check results in at least two, preferably three, different ways.
- Excellent planning, analytical and organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.

Review inspection requirements for project material requisitions and purchase, including invitations to tender and subcontracts
Participate in project management reviews and contracts for viability
Generate weekly reports on Quality Status for projects undertaken

JOB VACANCY AS JUNIOR MINE ENGINEER

We are a Contractor Mining Company is seeking for qualified and committed candidates for the following positions:
1. JUNIOR MINE ENGINEER
Responsibility:
Carry out activities as required associated with the manufacture, installation, and operation as well.
Requirements:
Min. Bachelor degree in Mining/ Civil Engineer.
Male, max 30 years old.
Having experience in Coal & Mining Industry minimum 3 years.
Good Interpersonal skills, can work independently, initiative and strong team player.
Posses strong knowledge and understanding in mining planning, project planning and forecasting, iron ore/coal mining
Highly understanding specification & utility of heavy equipment
Hardworking and be able to work under pressure.
Strong commitment to safety.
Willing to be based on outside Jakarta.
2. PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibility:
Key to this role will be the ability to successfully manage all aspects of the mine operations ensuring that works are carried out profitably, on time and within budget, whilst maintaining company standards and policy in the areas of safety, quality, environment, client, government and community relations.
Requirements:
Min. Bachelor degree in Mining Industry
Male, max 50 years old
Experience in Mining Contractor business
Background min. 15 years and capable to manage all aspect of mining operation, include ability to analyze daily, weekly, yearly and to-date project performance ability to make continuity improvement, productivity, efficiency and create Team Building
Have strong leadership, distinct / firm attitude towards positive changes
Trusted & Honest
Leadership capability demonstrated from experience to manage people
Demonstrate management commitment to Safety, Health and Environment
Must be willing to stay and/or work in remote locations all over the country
